| just saw Ice Age 3 last weekend. Pretty good actually. It took me until halfway through the 3RD Ice Age film to realize that the lion is played by Dennis Leary. Now I want to rewatch them all.  | |

SOooooo, picture this.
I log into these forums you got here this morning, and the mixpod randomly starts playing the lion king song. I thought to myself, "Self, I havent heard this song in quite a while. What a random song to be playing right now..."
A little while later, I go upstairs to do a little reading(Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series, book 7), and a few pages into my session I read this:
(excerpt from the page)

Nothing. Not even that rattle of distant gunfire. He was out of t-
Then, a single word - was it a word?

More important, was it Jake?
She didnt know for sure, but she thought yes. And the word seemed familiar to her, somehow.

Weird, huh. Well, it gets a little better. This particular chapter ends soon after, and what do you think the next chapter is called? "In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle". (the very title of the song heard earlier)

| not really a coincidence, SK was obviously hooking into a that particular song when he wrote the book. ok the lion king song was kind of a random connection. | |
